Children’s Ministry
Vintage Children’s Ministry strives to facilitate the development of a foundation for a life-long personal relationship with Jesus in each of our youngest members. In order to meet this goal, we provide engaging and relevant activities that are based upon sound Scripture teaching in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that our volunteers have a huge responsibility to model Christ to these young ones. Loving peer connections are encouraged as a foundation for living and working together within the body of Christ. We desire to partner with parents in nurturing their children’s spiritual growth. Parents are given opportunities each week to help children apply at home what they have learned at church.
We provide an infant/toddler room (birth-age 2), preschool class (age 3-K), and elementary class (grades 1-6). The elementary class splits into 2 age groups for activities. Our Sunday night experience begins with Kids’ Worship, a time of worship through music and movement, for preschool and elementary kids. The goal of Kids’ Worship is to give children the opportunity to enter into the presence of Jesus and connect with Him, in ways that are developmentally appropriate, relevant, engaging, and fun. The children are then dismissed to their respective classes. The toddler and preschool classes use the My First Look curriculum, and elementary class, 252 Basics.
